Armando Velis, founder of Velis Capital, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and comes from a family of business owners. With parents who are entrepreneurs themselves, he understands that a business is more than revenue and expenses—it represents a family’s work, commitment, and plans for the future.

His path into business funding began with a personal goal: finding financing solutions to help family members move their businesses forward. After helping family and friends access funding and pursue growth, he recognized a need beyond his own circle: owners who know how to run their businesses but want clearer guidance on financing.

That experience became the foundation for Velis Capital. Armando’s focus is not simply helping owners explore funding—it is helping them understand how capital can support growth, what different options involve, and how to evaluate the costs and responsibilities that come with them.

Based in the Rio Grande Valley, he brings that education-first approach to established business owners in English and Spanish, with a belief that an informed owner is better equipped to make the next move.
